editor was needed right away. . We offered to take on the job if no one else was able to, as a show of support.  We are lacking the “car knowledge” that so many of you have, but Steve works in computers and technology so we are blessed on that part and have some of the tools necessary to put this together, because of him.  Thanks to Steve, I am blessed to work PT hours at our church,  where I run the kitchen and cater meals for events and funerals.  This has given me time to spend with our only child, Andrew and his school through out the years.  Andrew is 16 and autistic, but we have been so blessed to have him as our son and have seen little, daily miracles in him, since birth.  Andrew’s first love is steam locomotives, but he has come to appreciate car shows because of his favorite person in the whole world,

“Gramps”,  whom you may know as Bud Hestness, my dad.  Though, I have been hearing about Hudson’s from my dad for 43 years, I haven’t done well at retaining that info, but we’re trying to learn. So, thank you for appreciating our efforts.  We’ve enjoyed getting to know many of you so far and look forward to meeting the rest of you “down the road”.  Thank you Chuck, Mary, Bruce & Joan for working with us to learn the ropes.  Thank you John Jaszczak, for submitting several articles, important info and event ideas, thus making this newsletter more interesting for the rest of you all to read.  And thanks dad for being a terrific resource and husband Steve for making all of this possible.  We’ll see you in Blaine.               Co-Editors, Steve/Beth

Who has been sending you the newsletter lately?  I am the niece of Chuck and Mary Hestness.  After attending  the wonderful Hudson, Wisconsin Picnic that Jerre and Pam Waye planned and many of the NCCHET Car Shows through the years, my husband Steve and I decided to take the plunge and become NCCHET members in March of 2008.  One problem though…..we have no Hudson or any other Show Car.  Chuck informed us that even though a Dodge Caravan is not exactly Car Show material-yet, you would  accept us as members anyways, even without the “right” vehicle.  We just had to learn more about this club that Uncle Chuck and Aunt Mary (with Robert and Steven) have been so dedicated to for so many years. At the Holiday Party December 2008 at Gulden’s, Joan said that a newsletter
